A few sentences about me:

My name is Andreas Rentschler and I’m 29 years old.

I’m a computer science student at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. My interests are mainly in the fields of software architecture and man-machine interfaces. Currently I’m working at the local research center for information technologies, the Forschungszentrum für Informatik (FZI), I’m writing my diploma thesis there. In my free time I prefer developing software and riding my mountain-bike.

This weblog’s purpose is to document what I’m currently doing, be it studying, working or coding.

    Seminar paper in German on Model-To-Text-Transformations in the MDSD (pdf), including slides (pdf)
  • 2006-08-21 - 2007-02-20:
    Student research project (pdf) on design and implementation of a meta-IDE for embedded systems, called Embedded Systems Development Environment (ESDE). The Eclipse IDE was chosen as target platform.
